Knowing how to make World of Warcraft gold for yourself can be a really big advantage. Not knowing how to make WoW gold can really cripple your character because you will always have to settle for less. The most common scenario for this is when you fight a player which is as skilled as you are but better equipped, and you loose. That can happen very often and all you need to do to avoid situations like that is figure out a way to get gold.

From the moment you reach the level cap, you can start making money even without any professions. To make that happen, you need to follow two simple steps:

In order to start to make some gold, you need something to sell. Not all mobs are good for being farmed. What you need are Humanoid, Undead or Elemental. Humanoid and Undead mobs drop all sorts of green/blue items along with reagents for crafters and coins. Elemental mobs drop Motes and Crystallized Elements which are sought after by crafters. What you need to do is find a spot with any of the above types of mobs, preferably with a few levels beneath you. But not too many, 2 or 3 should be enough. Grind on them until you have many green/blue items and a few stacks of whatever ingredients they drop. Remember, the more you kill the more money you will make.

WoW Gold Guide - Step Two: Selling

After you are done killing, you need to sell your loot over the Auction House. There are a few ways of doing this. First check the prices on the ingredients you have, if they are too low and you know you can get better for them, hold on to them or buy the cheap ones if you can. As for the items you got, hold on to them until you have two or three bags full of gear. Once you do, talk to an enchanter to disenchant them for the ingredients they will give. That way you get more money than by simply selling the items. Another thing you can do is sell the green ingredients during the week, they tend to be more expensive. You should sell the blue ingredients during the weekend because they are more expensive then.

Following those two steps I’m sure everyone can make decent amounts of gold. I know I did and only a few days after reaching the level cap, I had the money to buy an epic flying mount. Not long after that, I was dressed in all the epic gear I could buy, and if I couldn’t buy any parts, I simply bought myself a spot onto raids. That’s how to make World of Warcraft money easy and pretty fast.
