Limited Supply Items Guide

If you choose this method to make some gold in World of Warcraft, the most important items you should go after, are the limited supply recipes. You know why? Because some of them are very important to skill up certain crafting professions. You can save a lot of money skilling up a craft with recipes that cannot be learned from the trainer, because they require less materials or cheap and easy to acquire materials. Players don’t know where to find them and they would rather buy them from the Auction House. Some recipes can be sold for quite high prices.

Also, the enchanting supplies that can be found at vendors have sometimes high prices. For example, a stack of low level enchanting dust can go up to even 50-60g, so buy these too, everytime you have the chance.

I found a couple of videos that explain this method very well. The videos are for Alliance only, but the Horde players can apply same tactics.
