A lot of gold can be made these days by farming vanity pets because many players want them for their collections. The Razormaw Hatchling is easy to farm and, depending on realm, you can sell it for up to 5-600g or even 1000g. Raptor Ridge, where this vanity pet can be farmed, is located in Wetlands, at (69,35). It’s a cave full of 28-29 level raptors, so you might want to bring a character of an appropriate level, or higher. There’s a rare spawn boss in this cave, the Razormaw Matriarch, but this mob no longer drops the Razormaw Hatchling. You need to pick it up from the raptor nest inside the cave. There are three locations where the nest can spawn, so look carefully.

The respawn rate is 6 hours, so it’s best to keep a 30+ alt there and log every six hours to look for the nest.
This is also a great spot for skinning Medium Leather and Heavy Hides.

Another vanity pet that is easy to farm and sell is Darting Hatchling. I found the raptor nest from which you can loot the Darting Hatchling near a tree, precisely at (48,19) in the northern part of Dustwallow Marsh. Although the Darting Hatchling no longer drops from Dart, you will pick it up from the nest nearby. The respawn rate of the nest is about 6 hours, just as for the rare mob. There are plenty of other raptor nests in the area for a quest. They are not lootable unless you have that quest, so look carefully for the one that drops the vanity pet.

The raptors in the area are level 36-37, so bring a toon close to that level or higher. Also, this is a great spot to farm Heavy Leather if you have skinning.
