Another vanity pet that is easy to farm and sell is Darting Hatchling. I found the raptor nest from which you can loot the Darting Hatchling near a tree, precisely at (48,19) in the northern part of Dustwallow Marsh. Although the Darting Hatchling no longer drops from Dart, you will pick it up from the nest nearby. The respawn rate of the nest is about 6 hours, just as for the rare mob. There are plenty of other raptor nests in the area for a quest. They are not lootable unless you have that quest, so look carefully for the one that drops the vanity pet.

The raptors in the area are level 36-37, so bring a toon close to that level or higher. Also, this is a great spot to farm Heavy Leather if you have skinning.

Watch this video that shows how to do it, with the mention that you will get the Darting Hatchling from the nest, not from the boss itself.

Tycoon's WoW Gold GuideThe Rich Tycoon WoW Gold Guide was published by Steven Rice, an addicted World of Warcraft player. He put together in this guide all the top-secret strategies that his filthy rich guild master has been using until the day he left WoW for good. His reason to publish this guide is that he thought it would be a total waste to let such powerful knowledge unrevealed. That’s why he arranged all the information in 260 pages of “juicy” content.

Steven’s WoW Gold Guide is centered on dominating the Auction House. Being the number one collector of money in the game, the Auction House it’s where the money is. Here are a few of the aspects revealed in this book that will make any player, noob or pro, a reputated auctioneer:

  • First of all, The Rich Tycoon Gold Guide reveals a full list of all the AH addons. There are instructions on how to use all these addons to get their maximum potential and implicitly maximum profits;

  • An amazing strategy of increasing all your profits by 20% without any effort;
  • A tactic to make 2000g per day with the game basically on autopilot;
  • Undercutting methods to end your auctions quickly and successfully, and how to take advantage of the patches, expansions or the weekly server maintenance to increase the incomes from your sales.

The Rich Tycoon Gold Guide has covered the professions as well. Here’s what this WoW gold guide contains about making money with the tradeskills:

  • Amazing routes for gathering the most desired minerals and herbs;

Knowing how to make World of Warcraft gold for yourself can be a really big advantage. Not knowing how to make WoW gold can really cripple your character because you will always have to settle for less. The most common scenario for this is when you fight a player which is as skilled as you are but better equipped, and you loose. That can happen very often and all you need to do to avoid situations like that is figure out a way to get gold.

From the moment you reach the level cap, you can start making money even without any professions. To make that happen, you need to follow two simple steps:

WoW Gold Guide - Step One: Grinding

In order to start to make some gold, you need something to sell. Not all mobs are good for being farmed. What you need are Humanoid, Undead or Elemental. Humanoid and Undead mobs drop all sorts of green/blue items along with reagents for crafters and coins. Elemental mobs drop Motes and Crystallized Elements which are sought after by crafters. What you need to do is find a spot with any of the above types of mobs, preferably with a few levels beneath you. But not too many, 2 or 3 should be enough. Grind on them until you have many green/blue items and a few stacks of whatever ingredients they drop. Remember, the more you kill the more money you will make.

WoW Gold Guide - Step Two: Selling

After you are done killing, you need to sell your loot over the Auction House. There are a few ways of doing this. First check the prices on the ingredients you have, if they are too low and you know you can get better for them, hold on to them or buy the cheap ones if you can. As for the items you got, hold on to them until you have two or three bags full of gear. Once you do, talk to an enchanter to disenchant them for the ingredients they will give. That way you get more money than by simply selling the items. Another thing you can do is sell the green ingredients during the week, they tend to be more expensive. You should sell the blue ingredients during the weekend because they are more expensive then.

Following those two steps I’m sure everyone can make decent amounts of gold. I know I did and only a few days after reaching the level cap, I had the money to buy an epic flying mount. Not long after that, I was dressed in all the epic gear I could buy, and if I couldn’t buy any parts, I simply bought myself a spot onto raids. That’s how to make World of Warcraft money easy and pretty fast.

There are many ways to make a decent buck in World of Warcraft and every players has at least one personal method to get the cash he needs for raids, gear, professions or enchantments. Not many players know though how to farm gold in World of Warcraft the real way, for tens of thousands of gold. I’m going to share here, a few gold making tips that I have learned using the best WoW gold guides out there.

1. If you have enough time to play the game, grinding is a good idea to make some money. The best mobs that a player can kill for cash are the undead, the humanoids and the elemental. Undead and humanoid mobs drop coins all the time and cloth, needed by tailors. Also, they have increased chances to drop green or blue gear which can be sold for nice money at the auction house or disenchanted for the essences, dusts or crystals. The elemental mobs drop mote or crystallized elements which are all needed by crafters for various items.

2. If you go hunting for animals for skinning, make sure the ones you kill drop valuable meats, like mammoths in Northrend for example. Therefore, along with the skins and furs you’ll get an additional drop good to sell at the auction house.

3. If you’re going to do daily quests, epic mounts are a must. You need to move throughout the quests as fast as possible without wasting not even a second of the play time, because in WoW time is money as well as in the real world. Also, group up all the quest in an easy to follow route, completing 3-4 at on time if possible.

4. If you’re gathering minerals or flowers, again, depending on the zone, an epic ground mount or an epic flying mount are good investments. You need to cover large areas of a zone or different zones to gather as many resources as possible, in the shortest time possible, before they are found by the other gatherers. I usually do my gathering in the morning while I drink my coffee, when most of the players are offline.

5. Another tip about how to make gold in World of Warcraft stands for gathering in lower areas where high level players refuse to return after reaching level 80. This can create a general lack for a certain resource that can be sold at the moment for high amounts of cash. For example, Thorium which is relatively easy to gather, can sometimes be 70-80g stack because nobody harvests any.

6. If you choose to be an “Auction House broker”, buying and selling various goods for profit, you must be aware that to do this, a good knowledge for the supply and demand of the server you’re on is required. Farming at AH can be double edged, as you can lose money too. But those who master the fundaments of the AH and are able to get tens of thousands of gold really know how to farm gold in World of Warcraft.

7. Fishing is another profitable profession. To make money with fishing the best choice is to go in the areas with low player activity, like Eastern Plaguelands for example. Just like the minerals in the lower areas, a certain type of fish can be very rare and hard to find at AH, and a stack can be sold for high amounts of cash.

These are just a few tips about how to farm gold in World of Warcraft, things that many WoW Gold Guides focus on.  Anyway, if you are serious about farming gold in World of Warcraft, I strongly recommend a professional guide. There are many guides out there, some are good, some are excellent and some are just waste of money. Check the reviews on this website before deciding to buy a guide, to be sure that you will pick the best WoW gold guide.
